SAINT

What is a woman - Holy, unholy and all in between.

SAINT is a collaborative dance project presented by Zoetic Dance Ensemble about the evolution of perspective and the ideologies of individualized and collective femininity. A culmination of unique female voices, bodies and spirits, SAINT is a hymn for the modern Woman - a champion of sisterhood and womankind.

Original choreography by Mallory Baxley, and Zoetic Dance artists. Original score by Xavier “Xay Zoleil” Lewis. Original costume design by Hannah James. Set design and graphics by Morgen Billingslea Tanksley.

This program was funded by the City of Atlanta Office of Cultural Affairs and the Fulton Board of Commissioners.

Sweaty Litanies

"…Blessed are the beloved who I didn’t describe, I couldn’t describe, will learn to describe and respect and love”. Sweaty Litanies is a petition to face the challenges and celebration of community. It is The Processional within a journey to find and sustain identity within unavoidable interdependence. 

Work presented at Whitespace Gallery in Atlanta, GA featuring original choreography by NY’s, ChristinaNoel Reaves (ChristinaNoel & the Creature), visual art by Zipporah Camille Thompson and original musical performance by Norman Frank.

SLEEPOVER

2017 • West End Performing Arts Center • Atlanta, GA

SLEEPOVER was an evening length concert performance inspired by Lily Baldwin’s (NY) original film work, Sleepover LA. Featuring original choreography and film work by Mallory Baxley. SLEEPOVER was performed as part of Zoetic’s inagural MIXTAPE dance festival in 2017 at West End Performing Arts Center.

This program was funded by the Georgia Council for the Arts.
